The 2024/25 Winter Track and Field Championships will be held on Sunday, 17th August 2025 at John Landy Athletics Field, South Geelong.

This meet will be conducted as a form of Combined Event. Athletes will compete in 5 events (4 for Multi-Class). There will be no awards for the individual events but there will be awards for the top 3 athletes in each age group/gender across the 5 events (4 for Multi- Class) similar to how Combined Event awards are done.

Age Groups: U9 – U17 Athletes

Entry Requirements

Athletes wishing to qualify for the 2024/25 Winter Track and Field Championships must qualify via the 2024/25 Winter Track and Field Qualifiers HERE. There is no direct entry to this event.

Maximum numbers per age group

The maximum number of athletes that can qualify for this event via the 2024/25 Winter Track and Field Qualifiers are:

U9-U13 – 16 Boys + 16 Girls – per age group

U14-U17 – 12 Boys + 12 Girls – per age group

Multi-Class – 8 Boys + 8 Girls per age grouping

All Athletes from are required to compete in all events allocated to their age group at the event to receive an overall placing. Events are conducted as a “Combined Event” with points awarded based on an athlete’s finishing position in each event.

U9 to U17 Boys – 5 Events (60m, 300m, 700m, Long Jump, Shot Put)

U9 to U17 Girls – 5 Events (60m, 300m, 700m, Long Jump, Discus)

Multi-Class (Boys & Girls) – 4 Events (60m, 300m, Long Jump, Shot Put)
