Volunteers are the lifeblood of our sport and play a major role in the success of Little Athletics. As such, we recognise the importance of providing them with the resources needed to effectively complete their roles. On this page, further information and links can be found regarding programs and practices designed to support our Centres and Regions.

ourCENTRE

Previously known as the Centre Resource Guide, a big folder-come-CD of helpful information on all facets of how to run a Little Athletics Centre, the product has been given a new online. Known as ourCENTRE, the website hosts a mutiny of resources including, but not limited to, template documents for committee roles and responsibilities, information about planning and applying for grants, and recordings of annual conference sessions. Development Officer Program

To offer better week-to-week support for those delivering our sport, Centres may be visited by one of Little Athletics Victoria’s two Development Officers (DO) in any given season. As casual employees of LAVic, DOs often engage in standard weekly competition and/or training activities, assisting in the identification of growth areas, while also developing strategies to assist. Education for Centres and Regions

A raft of education programs are currently available for committee members, including age group managers, links of which can be found below. We are planning on developing some additional eLearning content to assist those in executive roles. Watch this space!
