The State Cross-Country Championships is an individual Cross-Country event. It is held on terrain that is undulating and provides a challenge to the athletes. The course may incorporate one or two laps depending on the distance and layout of the course.

Location: Lake Dewar Lodge, 339 Garrands Road, Myrniong (Google Maps)

Age Groups: U9 – U16 Athletes

Please Note: Dogs are NOT permitted within the venue. Dogs are not permitted at any Little Athletics Victoria event, please ensure you remind your parents, as they will be asked to leave if they arrive with a dog.

Results: Results Hub works with the Meet Manager program and captures the results as soon as they are loaded. Results displayed in Results Hub are provisional and can change. Results are only official once the final hard copy results are posted by the Communications Manager.

Team results will be posted at the venue on the day and only made available via the PDF results after the completion of the Championships in Results Hub.

Entry Requirements

Athletes must qualify through the 2022 Region Cross-Country Carnivals.

A Provisional Timetable for the event has been uploaded above. The Provisional Timetable will also be published and sent to all athletes as part of the Athlete Information sheet in the week of the event.

Athlete Scratching / Withdrawal

State Cross-Country Championships scratchings will need to be provided to your Centre or Team Manager at check in on the day.

• Once the scratching/withdrawal has been submitted, the scratched athlete cannot be reinstated.

In order to comply with COVID-19 protocols, there will be no merchandise stall at the Championships – all orders are required to be processed online.
