2022/23 State Combined Events Championships
The 22/23 Commonwealth Bank State Combined Events Championships will take place at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park on the 12th and 13th November 2022. Athletes in the Under 9 through to Under 17 age groups are eligible to participate.
The Combined Events consist of between four and seven separate disciplines depending on which age group a child is in. Events consisting of five disciplines will be held on one day. Events consisting of more than five disciplines will be held on two consecutive days.

Please Note: Dogs are NOT permitted within the venue. Dogs are not permitted at any Little Athletics Victoria event, please ensure you remind your parents, as they will be asked to leave if they arrive with a dog.
Entry Requirements
To participate in the 2022/23 State Combined Events Championships an athlete must:
a) Be registered as a Competitive Member, as per Regulation 7 – Registration of Competitive Members.
b) Be a LAVic financial registered competitive member in their correct age group by the closing date and time of entries for the competition.
Athlete Event Scratching
Athletes wishing to scratch from the 2022/23 State Combined Events Championships need to do so via contacting their Centre.

Sunday: U11, U12, (Boys & Girls)
Saturday & Sunday: U14, U15, U16, U17 (Boys & Girls)

Entry Caps
There will be entry caps on each age group that can register. The U9 – U13 ages group will a compete in 5 events, U14 to 6 events, U15-U17 to 7 events. Multi-Class will compete in 4 events.
U9: 72 Boys & 72 Girls
U10: 72 Boys & 72 Girls
U11: 72 Boys & 72 Girls
U12: 72 Boys & 72 Girls
U13: 54 Boys & 54 Girls
U14: 36 Boys & 36 Girls
U15: 36 Boys & 36 Girls
U16: 24 Boys & 24 Girls
U17: 16 Boys & 16 Girls
Multi-Class – U9 to U10: Unlimited Boys & Girls
Multi-Class – U11 to U12: Unlimited Boys & Girls
Multi-Class – U13 to U17: Unlimited Boys & Girls
Multi-Class
The age group types for the Multi-Class are U9-U10, U11-U12 and U13-U17, boys and girls. Multi-Class athletes require a provisional or full classification.
Australian Little Athletics Championships (ALAC): Under 15 Athletes
Athletes are selected for the Australian Combined Events Championships (ACEC) by the Selection panel. This selection process will occur on the Monday night, immediately following the State Combined Events Championships.
Under 15 athletes competing in the State Combined Events Championships will be invited along with their parents to attend a selection meeting at the conclusion of the medal presentation.
Due to the structure of the ACEC, the athletes selected will be required to confirm their acceptance prior to leaving the venue on Sunday afternoon.
Multi-Class athletes in the U15 age group can qualify for ALAC selection, depending upon performance.

Athletes have the opportunity to purchase a 2022/23 State Combined Events Championship commemorative t-shirt to mark the occasion – athletes and their families should be extremely proud of their efforts in participating in the 2022/23 State Combined Events Championship.
