The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their kids involved in Little Athletics. Eligible children may receive up to $200 to cover the costs for membership registration fees and competition uniforms (must be purchased in the same transaction).

The information below is a guide to assist Little Athletics parents/guardians:

  1. Apply for a reimbursement (if membership registration has been paid) (currently closed – Round 7 closed Dec 12) 
  2. Apply for a Get Active Kids Voucher (do not apply for a voucher if you have already paid) (currently closed – Round 7 closed Dec 12) 
  3. Register their child for the 23/24 Little Athletics season.
  4. Redeem a Get Active Kids Voucher

1. APPLY FOR REIMBURSEMENT (IF MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION HAS BEEN PAID)

  • Reimbursement is available to parents/guardians that have already registered and paid for their athletes.
  • Eligible expenses (registration costs, and competition uniform costs incurred in the same transaction) can be reimbursed, dating back to the 8th of May 2023.
  • Applications for reimbursement are conducted online via the Program website – click HERE.

Please note: Only vouchers successfully approved by GAK prior to round 7 closing (Dec 12) can still be redeemed through Little Athletics Victoria up until the 30th of April 2024.

2. APPLY FOR A GET ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER (DO NOT APPLY FOR A VOUCHER IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID)

  • Do not apply for a voucher if you have already paid for your season 23/24 Registration (go back to step 1).
  • Parents/guardians must apply for a Get Active Kids Voucher online via the Program website – click HERE. Eligibility criteria, expenses covered, and other information can be found within the FAQs – click HERE.
  • Must select ‘Little Athletics Association of Victoria Inc’ as the Activity Provider. Provider number – 3351840.
  • A Voucher code will be issued (commencing with ‘G7′).

3. SUBMIT A REGISTRATION FOR YOUR ATHLETE(S)

  • Enter the voucher code in the custom field (for each eligible athlete), as show below:

  • Once at the final stage of the registration – select the submit registration without payment option. (This will issue an invoice to your email address) then proceed to step 3. Step 3 must be completed to have your registration processed to be financial.

4. REDEEM YOUR VOUCHER

  • Following registration, please make contact between Monday – Thursday* via email to the LAVic office (office@lavic.com.au) and undertake the following:
    • Provide a copy of the LAVic registration invoice, this will have been sent from your Centre on the date you submitted your registration.
    • Provide a screenshot of the Get Active Kids Voucher (GAK) confirmation email/s (one for each eligible child) that includes the athletes name, voucher code and provider details.
    • IMPORTANTIf a competition uniform is being redeemed with the voucher, you must advise at the same time as providing the invoice and GAK voucher confirmation emailincluding the item reference and value ($): e.g: competition singlet $35.
    • Copy of your proof of age (if you are a new member).

* Please ensure you email the LAVic office between Monday-Thursday in order to have your registration processed in time for weekend Centre competition. ‘Competition Uniform’ is specific to the items you compete in eg: singlet / shirt and shorts (if available for purchase from your Centre / Club).

  • What happens next?
    • The LAVic office will verify the voucher number with Get Active Kids.
    • Adjust (if applicable) the registration invoice to reflect total cost of membership & Centre uniform purchase (if applicable).
    • Process the registration to assign financial status to the member/s. In the event that the membership registration exceeds $200, a ‘secondary invoice’ will be issued for the balance, this will need to be paid prior to the member becoming a financial member.
    • Send a receipt of the completed registration payment.

Voucher codes must be added to the membership form – this is completed during the registration process. If you have already submitted an application without payment and need to update your form with your voucher code, please login to your profile, click on the option ‘update your details’ and add the code towards the bottom of the form, make sure you click save before completing Step 4 – Redeem your voucher.
