Applications Now Open – Round 9 of the VIC Get Active Kids Voucher Program opened at 10am on 15 October 2025.
The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their kids involved in Little Athletics. Eligible children may receive up to $200 to cover the costs for membership registration fees and competition uniforms (must be purchased in the same transaction).

The information below is a guide to assist Little Athletics parents/guardians:
1. Apply for a reimbursement (if membership registration has been paid)
2. Apply for a Get Active Kids Voucher (do not apply for a voucher if you have already paid)
2a. Register their child for the 25/26 Little Athletics season.
1. APPLY FOR REIMBURSEMENT (IF MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION HAS BEEN PAID)
Reimbursement is available to parents/guardians that have already registered and paid for their athlete/s 2025/26 season membership.
You must have paid for your child’s activity between 1 July 2025 until the time of submitting the application to be eligible for reimbursement.
Applications for reimbursement are conducted online via the Program website – click HERE.
2. APPLY FOR A GET ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER (DO NOT APPLY FOR A VOUCHER IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID)
- Do not apply for a voucher if you have already paid for your season 25/26 Registration (go back to step 1).
- Parents/guardians must apply for a Get Active Kids Voucher online via the Program website – click HERE. Eligibility criteria, expenses covered, and other information can be found within the FAQs – click HERE.
- Must select ‘Little Athletics Association of Victoria Inc’ as the Activity Provider. Provider number – 3351840.
- A Voucher code will be issued (commencing with ‘G9′).
Note: If you do not select the correct activity provider as outlined above, you will be unable to redeem your Get Active Kids Voucher for a Little Athletics membership registration.
2a. REGISTER THEIR CHILD FOR THE 25/26 LITTLE ATHLETICS SEASON
On the payment page under voucher code, select ‘Vic Government’ then enter the voucher code (for the eligible athlete) as provided to you from GAK see example shown below:
If you are registering from one the following Centres below & wishing to add a competition item/s to the balance the voucher redemption if there are sufficient funds to do so from the balance. You can now select a ‘GAK uniform credit’ or select a ‘GAK uniform item’ in their registration form.
Altona, Brimbank, Buninyong, Cockatoo, Cohuna, Cranbourne, Dandenong, Kilmore & District, Lakes Entrance, Melton City, Nunawading, Port Fairy, Portland, Preston Reservoir, Seaford, Seymour, Shepparton, Southern Peninsula, Springvale, Surf Coast, Traralgon, Yarra Ranges.
IMPORTANT: Centres not listed above but who have a single member registration value $180 or less should follow the below instructions if wishing to use the balance of their voucher to contribute towards a competition uniform:
Complete the membership registration only using the voucher, and within 24 hours, email the LAVic office accounts@lavic.com.au to confirm the item of merchandise to be added to the voucher, so it can be assigned manually to your profile, and your Centre be notified on the purchase of the items for distribution.
