Little Athletics Victoria has informed Centres that the decision being made on the whether the 2020 State Cross Country Championships will take place on the 1st August (if at all) has been extended until the 1st July.
With the easing of restrictions rapidly changing and further announcements set to be made by the Victorian State Government on the 22nd June, it was determined that an extension on the decision being made on whether the event would and could be held was the best course of action.
The major stumbling blocks for this event will be restrictions preventing competition, and rules limiting maximum sizes of outdoor gatherings in the community sport context.
