2026 Region Cross-Country Carnivals
The 2026 Region Cross-Country Carnivals are Individual Cross-Country events that also serves as a qualifying event for the 2026 State Cross-Country Championships held at Lake Dewar on Saturday 15th August.
Although it is an Individual event, there is a Teams element. The Teams event will be conducted concurrently with the Individual event and is based on the results of the first 3 athletes from each Centre across the line. Where a Centre has more than 3 participants in an event, each subsequent set of 3 athletes will constitute another team from that Centre. Under no circumstances can a team consist of more than 3 members.
In order to participate at the State Championships, the entrant must have ‘Competed and completed’ the relevant event at the Region Cross-Country Carnival (* as per Competition Regulation – Rule 602: Participation requirements for Region & State Competitions).
Entry Fee: $28.60 per athlete (processing fee of $1.10 is included in the advertised price for each member entered). The entry fee covers entry into both the Region Carnival & State Championships.
